How I Work
Systems before screens
I start with the rules. What a role is allowed to see. What a state is allowed to change. What a component is allowed to become. Screens are the output of those decisions, not the input, and the ones that break usually broke at the rule.

Restraint is a design decision
Complex products fail by showing everything. On a workforce platform of 651 screens, the argument that mattered was not what each role could see. It was what each role was explicitly denied. Deciding what to withhold is design work, and I treat it that way.

Brand and product are one job
I’ve run both. A brand that promises calm and a product that delivers noise is not two problems, it’s one broken system. I’d rather fix the seam than hand it across a wall.
